Space Invader was rescued on 11th February 2019 Space Invader, 16 weeks old male seal pup, was rescued on 11th February 2019 from St Ives Bay by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) Medics. The pup´s rear left flipper digit was very swollen with pus leaking out from under the nailbed. Weighed 5kgs and temperature 38.5. Update - 22nd April 2019 : Space Invader is currently in the rehabilitation pool, he will be released back into the wild in the next few days. He currently weighs 36kgs.
