Arnold was rescued on 23rd January 2019
Arnold, 12 weeks old male seal pup, was rescued on 23rd January 2019 from a beach in St Ives Bay by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) Medics.

The pup had ulcerations in both eyes, swollen front right flipper and small puncture wounds all over his body. Weighed 18kgs.

Arnold Update - 24th February 2019 : Arnold is currently in the outside pool for his final stage of rehabilitation.

His flipper tag ID number is 356 (red).

Update - 22nd April 2019 : Arnold is in the rehabilitation pool waiting to be released back into the wild this coming week. He currently weighs 32.5kgs. Photo left was taken on 21st April 2019, click here to see a larger version.
Update - 12th May 2019 : Arnold, Magnum P.I., My Little Pony, Kiss, Miss Pacman and Space Invader have completed their rehabilitation at the Seal Sanctuary and were released back into the wild on 10th May 2019 at Porthtowan beach.
