This month saw the arrival of four more rescued seal pups in the hospital by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team and the Sanctuary´s Animal Care Team:-
Logo, approx. 7-8 weeks old male grey seal pup and 19kgs, was rescued on 7th February 2016 from Penberth, St Buryan.
He was found with a puncture wound to his left flipper and also a possible rupture to his left eye. The vet prescribed Logo with a course of anti-inflammatories, antibiotics and eye drops.

| Screwball Scramble, approx. 8 weeks old male grey seal pup and 23kgs, was rescued on 8th February 2016 from Godrevy beach.
He was found with superficial wounds and punctures to his tail, flippers and chin. Also had quite a high temperature and a small oedema in right eye. The vet prescribed a course of anti-inflammatories, antibiotics and eye drops which has helped the pup´s wounds and eye.

Go, approx. 10-12 weeks old male grey seal pup weighing a very small 15kgs, was rescued on 14th February 2016 from Lusty Glaze beach, St Buryan.
He was found to be very malnourished pup and with minor wounds on his back. The vet prescribed a course of anti-inflammatories, antibiotics and eye drops.

Magic, approx. 10 weeks old female grey seal pup, was rescued on 15th February 2016 from Pendeen.
She was found to be a very lethargic seal after the storms and weighed 16.5kgs. The pup was bleeding from the mouth due to minor wounds with slight swelling on the right hand side of her lower jaw. Also had minor wounds to her rear flippers. The vet prescribed a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatories and rehydration fluids.
