Screwball Scramble was rescued on 8th February 2016

Screwball Scramble, approx. 8 weeks old male grey seal pup and 23kgs, was rescued on 8th February 2016 from Godrevy beach by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BMDLR) team.
He was found with superficial wounds and punctures to his tail, flippers and chin. Also had quite a high temperature and a small oedema in right eye. The vet prescribed a course of anti-inflammatories, antibiotics and eye drops which has helped the pup´s wounds and eye.

Update - 16th March 2016 : Screwball Scramble is now in the outside nursery pools with another seal pup putting on a bit more weight so he can continue in the rehabilitation process.

Update - 17th May 2016 : Screwball Scramble along with Connect 4, Marbles, Pop up Pirate and Pontoon were released back into the wild on 16th May 2016 at Gwithian.
Screwball Scramble´s flipper tag number is 103 (blue).
