Pilchard, male seal pup, was rescued on 14th December 2020 from Hollywell bay by the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) marine mammal medics.
He was found underweight, exhausted and very cold. The pup was taken to one of the BDMLR´s holding facilities until a pen was available for him at the Seal Sanctuary´s hospital.

British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) Volunteer marine mammal medics will be sent out to monitor the pup for a period of time and as a very last resort, may rescue the pup depending on the circumstances.
