Dumpling was rescued on 25th February 2021
Dumpling, 12 weeks old male grey seal pup, was rescued on 25th February 2021 from Sennen by marine mammal medics from the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR).

The decision was made to rescue him as he had scarring in both eyes, patches of hair loss and seemed quite quiet and lethargic.

The pup was taken to one of the BDMLR´s holding facilities and stayed there until a pen became available on 2nd March 2021 at the Sanctuary´s seal hospital.
