Coral is a 3 weeks old (whitecoat) female grey seal pup that was rescued from Millook beach in Bude on 15th September 2021 by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) marine mammal medics.
Michelle, BDMLR marine mammal medic, said "Paul Willshire and myself rescued this desperate little one, in Bude, via a call from Born to be Wild. This poor pup had multiple injuries, ruptured/collapsed eye and swarming with flies."
The seal pup was rescued and kept overnight at a local vets and then the next day, she was relayed by members of the BDMLR marine mammal medics to Gweek.

British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) Volunteer marine mammal medics will be sent out to monitor the pup for a period of time and as a very last resort, may rescue the pup depending on the circumstances.
