Axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum) live in a wide range of habitats from lakes to canals in Mexico.
They are incredible animals that are able to regenerate lost limbs and even parts of their brain! Many are aiding in scientific research!
The Axolotis at the Hunstanton SEA LIFE are rescues! Most of which could no longer be cared for by their owners, so the centre have given them a home, which is why they are all such different sizes and colourations.
