SAD PASSING OF THE SANCTUARY´S MUCH LOVED BABYFACE

It is with heavy hearts that the Cornish Seal Sanctuary are announcing the passing of their oldest boy and dear friend Babyface the common seal on 16th December 2022. This is a huge loss to the Sanctuary family, everyone who cared for him, worked with him, met him and loved him.

Babyface joined the Sanctuary in 2010 when he came from Colchester Zoo at the ripe old age of 32-years-old.   Even though he was already an elderly seal at this point, he still managed to get up to mischief (which is how the Sanctuary have ended up with his two lovely sons, Bo and Buddy!).   Read More.

A cockapoo desperately searching for his forever home has been named "Dog of the Week" at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary.

Paddy, an 11-year-old "bachelor", has been in the care of the National Animal Welfare Trust Cornwall (NAWT) for a whole year, after struggling to find a forever family in three different homes.   Read More.
