Yellow-bellied Slider (Trachemys scripta)
Habitat : Slow-moving rivers, flooded swamps, marshes, seasonal wetlands and
permanent ponds.
Food : Hatchlings are almost entirely carnivorous, feeding on insects, spiders, crustaceans, tadpoles, fish.
Carapace length : Males reach 13 - 20 cm in length and females reach 20 - 33cm.
Location : Southeastern United States.
