Starsky and Hutch, Asian Short-Clawed Otters, were born on 23rd July 2005 at the Portsmouth Aquarium. They both arrived here at the sanctuary on 5th January 2009.
Starsky (photo right) is very active and enjoys climbing the mesh in the enclosure, but is afraid of coming back down again! He is often the first out of the holt in the morning looking for breakfast! Starsky is very vocal and can be heard doing lots of squeaking. Starsky´s favourite food is crayfish.

Hutch (photo left) is very independent and quite boisterous, he is very good at his husbandry training but likes to tease his trainers, and by pretending he can´t remember how to do it. Hutch loves sitting on top of the waterfall and keeping an eye on his brother Starsky. Hutch´s favourite food is fish.
