SMEE was rescued on 29th December 1997
Smee, on a beach at St Ives Smee was spotted by keen members of the public on a beach at St Ives.

He was well underweight (only 12.5kgs), probably due to him not feeding well on his own after leaving his mother at 3 to 4 weeks old. He was suffering from malnutrition, dehydration, and he had a small bite wound on his nose.
He also had four lines on his belly, probably old fishing net marks, which luckily didn´t develop into open wounds. Despite his small size, Smee is making a speedy recovery in the hospital. Smee in our Hospital
