Ripley Scott was rescued on 30th October 2011 On the 30th October 2011 we received a call about a pup on the beach at Gwithian, due to its age, condition and the public disturbance, it was decided that it needed to come into the Sanctuary and arrived just after 2.15pm. Although it was a good body condition, it did have multiple puncture wounds to rear and fore flippers, head, neck and left ear. The pup is a little boy and been named Ripley Scott. Update: 23rd November 2011 - Ripley is now in the outside nursery pool 1 for his next stage of rehabilitation which will include introducing him to other seals and teaching Ripley how to feed and fend for himself. Ripley´s flipper tag number is 14 (green). Update: 1st January 2012 - Photo left of Ripley was taken in the convalescent pool on 28th December 2011.     Click here to see further photos.
