Identification of Petunia
Bottom photo of Petunia was taken by Mike Stephens on 15th October 2013
on 22nd July 2013. Mike contacted Sue Sayer of the Cornwall Seal Group to see whether she could identify this seal, Sue used both photos (photo from her identification database) to compare, then confirmed that this Petunia. Sue pointed out that Petunia is one of only a handful of seals that have been rescued twice.

The Cornwall Seal Group are always looking for people to send in their photos so they can be matched with known seals on their database. They already have confirmed matches of seals first identified in Cornwall going to Ireland, Wales, Scillies and Northern France all through photos people have sent in.
Sue Sayer, founder of the Cornwall Seal Group, is great seal spotter.

To learn more about Sue Sayer´s great work, Sue has written a book called ´Seal Secrets´ which was published on 20th March 2012. It can be ordered from local bookshops or from Amazon.
