| Rescued Seal Pups
| Luke was rescued on 9th November 2013, after a successful rehabilitation, he was released back into the wild on 19th March 2014.

| Easter Egg Hunt
| Easter Sunday saw the
Scottish
SEA LIFE
Sanctuary
open its doors to hoards of hungry egg hunters! Everyone had a great day.
This was Oban´s biggest Chocolate Easter Egg Hunt.

Resident Seals
Macey, Pippa and Lora are enjoying having their pools

The Octonauts
Young fans of the TV show were excited to meet
The Octonauts, Captain Barnacles and Peso, who are part of the team of the undersea adventure heroes from CBeebies.
The Octonauts visited the Scottish SEA Life Sanctuary during
15th and 23rd March 2014 for lots of fun-filled activities.
Hope you didn´t miss them.
Conservation Work
During March and April the Scottish SEA LIFE Sanctuary carried out a Red Squirrel Survey for the Scottish Wildlife Trust collecting hair samples over a six week period as part of the ongoing conservation work with them.
Though the most commonly seen squirrel in Britain is the grey squirrel, it is not native to the UK at all. Our native squirrel is actually the more illusive, red squirrel.
