LOAFER was rescued on 15th October 2000

Loafer, a 4 weeks old female grey seal pup, was rescued on 15th October in the Helford passage by the animal care staff. Unfortunately, there was no room available in the seal hospital, so Loafer was transported to the RSPCA wildlife hospital at West Hatch.
As soon as she had healed and was feeding herself she was put into an outside pool. Joining us here at Gweek for further rehabilitation, Loafer is now doing well in the convalescence pool. |

Loafer´s flipper ID tag number is 49. She was released back into the wild on 15th February 2001 at Praa Sands.
