Update - 9th December 2023 : Zendaya is making fantastic progress. This little pup now needs to focus on putting on some weight and finishing the course of her treatment so she can return to the wild.

Update - 3rd January 2024 : Zendaya spent a few weeks in the hospital before she was moved down to the outside nursery pools. Now Zendaya is in the outside pools, this means she is on the road to recovery and mixing with other seal pups, also has a deeper pool to swim in. Pups in the nursery pools will be learning how to behave in the wild, interacting with other seals and also competing for their fish, which are all vital skills they will need when they are released back out into the wild.
Her flipper ID tag number is SL273 (yellow).
