Yahtzee was rescued on 9th December 2015
Yahtzee, approx. 8 weeks old male grey seal pup, was rescued on the 9th December 2015 from St Loy´s Cove (a small wooded valley and beach in the civil parish of St Buryan near Penzance) by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

He was rescued due to the oedema spotted in his right eye. Also had multiple minor wounds on rear flippers and pelvis. He weighed 19kgs. The vet prescribed on antibiotics and eye drops.

Yahtzee Update - 1st January 2016 : Yahtzee is now in the rehabilation pool for his next stage of learning how to compete for fish with the other rescued seal pup named Cribbage. The oedema has now cleared.

Yahtzee´s flipper tag number is 75 (blue).

Update - 15th February 2016 : Yahtzee is in the convalescent pool for his final stage of rehabilitation and learning how to compete for fish during feeding time with the resident adult seals and rescued seal pups before being released back to the wild.

Update - 1st March 2016 : Yahtzee along with Go Fish and Rummy were released back to the wild on 25th February 2016 at Gunwalloe.
