Whitney Houston was rescued on 18th February 2019

Whitney Houston, 12 weeks old female seal pup, was rescued on 18th February 2019 from Mousehole by the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) volunteer medics.
This pup was found with numerous bites, abscesses, underweight and slightly high temperature.
Shen was rescued at the same time as Puffalump.

Update - 20th March 2019 : This photo of Whitney Houston was taken in the nursery pool 3 on 19th March 2019, click here to see a larger version. She currently weighs 21.5kg.
Her flipper tag ID number is 365 (red).

Update - 22nd April 2019 : Whitney Houston is now in the convalescent pool putting on lots of weight before she is returned back into the wild in the next month or so. She currently weighs 24kg.
Update - 17th May 2019 :
Whitney Houston has been moved into nursery pool 2 and just needs to put a bit more weight on before she is returned back to the wild.

Update - 1st July 2019 :
Whitney Houston just needs to put on a few more pounds before she is ready to be returned to the wild very soon.

Update - 21st July 2019 : Whitney Houston along with Joy Division, Rubik´s Cube, Strawberry Shortcake and A-ha were released back into the wild on 17th July 2019 at Porthtowan beach.
