Turkey was rescued on Christmas Day 2016
Turkey, 3 weeks old male grey seal pup, was rescued on 25th December 2016 from Marazion by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

He was found to have wounds to his body. The pup was transported back to the seal hospital for rehabilitation.
Turkey Update - 31st December 2016 : Turkey is currently in the hospital´s isolation pen.

The pup currently weighs 18kgs.

Update - 1st March 2017 : Turkey is currently in the convalescent pool for his final stage of rehabilitation. Flipper tag number is 326 (white).
Update - 9th April 2017 : Turkey is in the outside rehab pool with three other rescued pups Racoon, Porcupine and Pangolin. These will be released back to the wild in the coming weeks.

Update - 1st May 2017 : Turkey along with Little Donkey, Raccoon, Koala and Boa were released back to the wild on 17th April 2017.
