This photo of
Treacle Tart was taken in the rehabilitation pool on the 2nd of December 2025.
She had very swollen rear flippers and some deep lacerations on hips. Despite the swelling, x-rays showed no broken bones and she has been successfully treated and is now in the rehabilitation pool, eating and swimming fine.
Treacle Tart was released back into the wild on the 24th of December 2025.
