Tiddlywinks was rescued on 19th November 2015
Tiddlywinks, approx. 3 weeks old male grey seal pup, was rescued on the 19th November 2015 from Newquay harbour by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

He weighed 12kg and was unresponsive with abscesses on both sides of his body and a small ulcer in the pup´s eye.
Tiddlywinks Update - 1st January 2016 : Tiddlywinks is now in the nursery pool for his next stage of rehabilitation and learning how to compete for fish with the other rescued seal pups.

His flipper tag number is 66 (blue).

Update - 14th May 2016 : Tiddlywinks along with Backgammon, Fantastica, Sagaland, Pie Face, Quiz and Hungry Hungry Hippo were released back into the wild on 10th May 2016 at Gwithian. Click here to watch a short video filmed by Grace Jones.
