Tafl was rescued on 10th January 2016
Tafl, approx. 5 week old female grey seal pup, was rescued on 10th January 2016 from Hemmik beach in St Austell by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BMDLR) team and taken to their holding facility as Gweek´s seal hospital was full. The pup was transferred to Gweek on 13th January 2016.

Tafl weighed 14kg and had a whisker bed wound on the right side of her face. Abrasian marks on the underside of both her front left and right flippers, as well as a small chunk missing between the 3rd and 4th digits on the pup´s rear left flipper.
Update - 14th May 2016 : Tafl along with Black Jack were released back into the wild on 10th May 2016 at Gunwalloe. Tafl´s flipper tag number is 93 (blue).
