Meet Sigurbjörg...the social butterfly of the group, spreads her wings of friendship wherever she goes. From nibbling on shoes to charming her way into hearts, she is a puffin with a knack for bringing smiles to faces.
Sigurbjörg´s ID tag colour ring is Red.
Sigurbjörg was rescued in 2017 and rehabilitated at the Beluga Whale Sanctuary & Puffin Rescue Centre in Iceland. Unfortunately she cannot be released back into the wild due to various issues.
She was relocated to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary in April 2024 to create space for the Iceland Sanctuary to continue their vital rehabilitation work.
