Scrabble was rescued on 13th December 2015
Scrabble, approx. 6-8 weeks old male grey seal pup, was rescued on the 13th December 2015 from Sennen beach by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

He came in very malnourished at just 12kgs. Had some superficial wounds on his flippers and bite marks on left shoulder and pelvis. Scrabble was treated with antibiotics and anti-inflammatories whilst he was in the hospital.
Scrabble Update - 1st January 2016 : Scrabble is now in nursery pool for his next stage of rehabilitation. His wounds have healed up nicely.

His flipper tag number is 76 (blue).

Update - 25th February 2016 : Scrabble is in the convalescent pool for his final stage of rehabilitation and learning how to compete for fish during feeding time with the resident adult seals and rescued seal pups before being released back to the wild.
Update - 22nd May 2016 : Scrabble is now in the final stage of his rehabilitation and will be released back into the wild in the next few weeks.

Ludo, Poker and Scrabble
Update - 30th May 2016 : Scrabble along with Ludo, Tic Tac Toe, Bounce Off, Queue and Magic were released back into the wild at Gwithian on 27th May 2016.
