Rummy was rescued on 2nd November 2015
Rummy, 4 weeks old male grey seal pup, was rescued from the beach at Soap Cove (Lizard Peninsula).

The pup had multiple puncture wounds on his body, flippers and head as well as an ulcer on his left eye. Weighed 27kgs.

Update - 12th November 2015 : Rummy is on a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatories and antibiotic eye-drops.
Rummy Update - 30th November 2015 : Rummy is now in the outside convalescent pool for his next stage of rehabilitation and learning how to compete for fish during feeding time with other rescued seal pups and resident adult seals. His flipper tag number is 61 (blue).

Update - 1st March 2016 : Rummy along with Go Fish and Yahtzee were released back to the wild on 25th February 2016 at Gunwalloe.
