Robin was rescued on 5th December 2016
Robin, 6 weeks old male grey seal pup, was rescued on 5th December 2016 from Gwithian beach by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

He was found to be malmourished and wounds to his body. The pup was transported back to the seal hospital for rehabilitation.
Robin Update - 1st January 2017 : Robin has been moved down to the outside nursery pool for his next stage of rehabilitation and to learn how to compete for fish with other rescued seal pups.

Robin´s flipper tag number is 317 (white).

Update - 1st March 2017 : Robin is currently in the convalescent pool for his final stage of rehabilitation and will be released back into the during the next month or so.

Update - 9th April 2017 : Robin is still in the convalescent pool and putting on lots of weight before being returned to the wild in the coming month or so.

Update - 1st June 2017 : Robin along with Gibbon, Wolf, Wallaby and Piranha were released back into the wild on 18th May 2017 at Gwithian.
Seal Release - 18th May 2017
