Pudding was rescued on 11th March 2016

Pudding, an approx. 3 months male grey seal pup, was rescued from the beach at Salthouse on 11th March 2016 by Nat, a member of the Animal Care Team.
He had big nasty wound to the top of his lip with lots of wounds on his back flippers and suffering from lungworm. Pudding weighed 17kgs.

With lots of attention from the Animal Care Team, hopefully the pup will make a full recovery and be returned to the wild later this year.

Update - 5th June 2016 : Pudding is now in the final stage of his rehabilitation and will be released back into the wild in the next few weeks.

His flipper tag number is 173 (blue).
