Poldark was rescued on 31st October 2017

Poldark, 4 week old male seal pup, was rescued on 31st October 2017 from Lizard Point.
The pup was found with a high temperature, malnourished and lethargic, weighing 14.5kgs.
Poldark is currently in the hospital´s isolation pen, he seems fairly bright and lively after 24 hours of hydration fluids.
He has minor wounds on his nose and rear flippers and a high temperature. The pup is currently on medication for these and hopefully will be feeling better soon.

Update - 1st January 2018 : Poldark is currently in the convalescent pool for his final stage of rehabilitation before he is released back into the wild soon.
Poldark´s flipper ID tag number is 323 (green).

Update - 10th February 2018 : Poldark along with Ross, George, Emma, Cary, Margaret and Jeremy were released back to the wild on 5th February 2018 at Gunwalloe.
