Nobbly Bobbly was rescued on 21st June 2015
Nobbly Bobbly, male common seal pup, was rescued on 21st June 2015 from Heacham South beach after being reported by concerned members of the public.

The pup was found separated from his mum, exhausted and alone on the beach. He weighed 11kgs.

Nobbly Bobbly Update - 30th June 2015 : Nobbly Bobbly is currently in the hospital´s weaning pool.

Nobbly Bobbly is now eating herring with a little help and encouragement from the Animal Care Team.

Update - 16th July 2015 : Here is the latest photo of Nobbly Bobbly in the hospital´s weaning pool taken on 12th July 2015, he is really enjoying himself with the four other rescued seal pups in here. He currently weighs 14.5kgs. Nobbly Bobbly´s flipper tag number is 82 (yellow).

Pups in the outside resident seals enclosure Update - 31st July 2015 : Nobbly Bobbly has been moved to the outside main resident seal pool to learn how to compete for fish with the other seals. He currently weighs 21kg.

Update - 11th August 2015 : Nobbly Bobbly is in the outside resident seal pool with the other rescued seal pups, Solero, Cornetto, Magnum, Haribo, Flake and Twister for their final stage of rehabilitation.

Update - 20th October 2015 : Nobbly Bobbly along with Twister, Cornetto, Flake, Magnum, Solero and Haribo were released back to the wild on 19th October 2015 at Snettisham beach.

Nobbly Bobbly´s release weight is 31kgs.

His flipper tag number is 82 (yellow).
