Lagoon Jellyfish (Mastigias papua)
These jellyfish have symbiotic algae which lives inside them! The algae uses sunlight to produce food for the jellyfish and in return the stinging jellyfish provides protection for the algae.
Habitat: Shallow coastal waters. Diet: Plankton. Size: Up to 20cm diameter. Location: Indo-Pacific Ocean.
