Mowgli was rescued on 30th September 2019
Mowgli, a 3 weeks old male seal pup, was rescued from Hell´s Mouth on 30th September 2019 by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) Medics and Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust during a routine boat survey of marine and birds in the St Ives Bay. It was amazing rescue.

This pup had superficial wounds to his tail and was malnourished. He weighed 14.5kgs at time of rescue.
Mowgli Update - 13th October 2019 : Mowgli is currently in the hospital and weighs 16.5kgs.

His flipper tag ID number is SL105 (yellow).

Update - 25th November 2019 : Mowgli is in his final stage of rehabilitation and will be returned back into the wild in the next month or so. He currently weighs 32kgs.

Update - 5th December 2019 : Mowgli has completed his rehabilitation and was released back into the wild at Porthtowan on 2nd December 2019 along with other rescued pups, Bridget Jones, Smee, Baloo, Pong and Arwen.
