We are delighted to welcome Morris, the newest addition to the Puffin colony in September 2026.
Found weak and underweight at Hawks Point, Morris was rescued through a collaborative effort involving local vets, wildlife rehabilitator Jon Matthews, and the Sanctuary´s dedicated animal care team.
Although a damaged wing means she cannot be released back into the wild, Morris now has a permanent home on Puffin Island, where she is settling in wonderfully with her ten puffin companions.
Visitors can already spot her exploring burrows, swimming in the pool, and making friends with fellow resident Karen as she begins this exciting new chapter.
Morris´s ID tag colour ring is Orange and Green.
