Mini Milk was rescued on 18th June 2015
Mini Milk, female common seal pup, was rescued on 18th June 2015 from Snettisham beach after being reported by concerned members of the public.

The pup was found exhausted and separated from her mum, alone on the beach along with another seal pup. These two pups found each other after hearing each other calling for their mums.

Mini Milk is the smallest pup of the season so far at only 7.5kgs.

Mini Milk Update - 30th June 2015 : Mini Milk is currently in the hospital´s pen number 8.

Mini Milk is now eating herring with a little help and encouragement from the Animal Care Team.

Update - 16th July 2015 : Here is the latest photo of Mini Milk taken on 12th July 2015, she is in the hospital´s pen number 6 and now weighs 9kgs. Click here to see a larger photo of this.

Update - 31st July 2015 : Mini Milk is currently in the hospital´s pen number 4 with another rescued seal pup named Feast, both hand feeding well and starting to learn to eat fish for themselves. Mini Milk currently weighs 13.5kg.

Mini Milk Update - 11th August 2015 : Here is the latest photo of Mini Milk taken on 9th August 2015, she is currently in the hospital´s pen number 4 and with another rescued pup named Feast.

Mini Milk´s flipper tag number is 76 (yellow).

Update - 20th September 2015 : Here is the latest photo of Mini Milk taken on 19th September 2015 in the hospital´s swim/wean pool. She is sharing this pool with another seal named Tornado.

Update - 27th October 2015 : Mini Milk is still in the main outdoor pool being fattening up for her release back to the wild in the next month or so. She weighs 21kgs.

Mini Milk Update - 19th November 2015 : Mini Milk is in the outside seal enclosure at the moment with the resident seals and putting on a bit more weight before she is released back to the wild in the next month or so.

Update - 14th December 2015 : Mini Milk is still in the outside main seal enclosure, she will be returned to the wild in the next month or so.

Update - 9th January 2016 : Mini Milk along with another seal pup named Calippo were released back into the wild on 5th January 2016. Mini Milk´s release weight was 32kgs.
