Marigold was rescued on 7th February 2018
Marigold, 10 weeks old female seal pup, was rescued on 7th February 2018 from Penberth Cove by some members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

This pup was found with high temperate, orange diarrhoea, possible respiratory infection and scratches to her eyes. Weighed 17kgs.

The pup was taken and treated at one of BDMLR´s holding facilities until a hospital pen became available a few days later at Gweek on 9th February 2018.
Marigold
Marigold Update - 25th February 2018 : Marigold´s respiratory infection is starting to improve but she is still continuing with treatment for now and remain in the hospital´s isolation pen. She currently weighs 18.5kgs.

Marigold´s flipper tag number is 366 (green).

Update - 28th March 2018 : Marigold is now in the outside nursery pool for her next stage of rehabilitation and to learn how to compete for fish with other rescued seal pups during feeding time.

Marigold Update - 29th April 2018 : Marigold is in the convalescent pool for her final stage of rehabilitation. She currently weighs 28.5kgs.

Seal Release 25th May 2018 Update - 29th May 2018 : Marigold along with Charles, Damzel, Legolas and Maude, were released back into the wild on 25th May 2018 at Dollar Cove.
