Lough Eske, a whitecoat grey seal pup, was rescued from Clifden in Galway on the 27th of October 2023.   This sweet grey female pup was emaciated, suffering from cuts and lacerations and had a badly infected flipper.   Like many pups in care, she likely became injured during stormy weather!   She was rehabilitated at the Seal Rescue Centre in Ireland.

Although she is clever enough to charm the team for fish, she will then eat at break-neck speeds and never seems to be full despite putting on a good few pounds!   The team loved this little pup´s voracious spirit; she is a true fish vacuum!

She was released back into the wild on the 12th of January 2024 at Wexford and weighed 35kg.
