Jammie Dodgers was rescued on 29th March 2021
Jammie Dodgers, 2-3 months old male grey seal pup, was rescued on 29th March 2021 from Sennen by marine mammal medics from the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR).

This pup was found with respiratory problems.

Jammie Dodgers Update - 19th April 2021 : Jammie Dodgers is currently in hospital pen number 3, he currently weighs 23kgs. In the next week or so, he will be moved down to the outside nursery pools for his next stage of rehabilitation.

His flipper tag ID number is SL148 (green).
Update - 16th May 2021 : Jammie Dodgers is in the outside nursery pool number 2 with another rescued seal pup named Gherkin. He needs to learn how to socialise and compete for his food, after which he can be moved to the larger rehabilitation pool.

Seal Release - 26th May 2021 Update : 31st May 2021 - Jammie Dodgers along with Bratwurst, Croissant, Charsiu, Dosa, Falafel and Yoghurt have completed their rehabilitation and the time came for them to be released back into the wild from Dollar Cove on 26th May 2021.
