Here is a gorgeous photo of a mum and pup was taken in West Cornwall in September 2020.
British Divers Marine Life Rescue marine mammal medics and Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust volunteers are busy monitoring pups at this time of year and liaising with the Sanctuary´s Animal Care Team.
Please keep a distance if you come across a pup on the beach as if the mother sees you nearby or disturbing the pup, she will not return and the pup will become malnourished.
