Goose was rescued on 22nd December 2016

Goose, 2-3 weeks old female grey seal pup, was rescued on 22nd December 2016 from Porthcothan beach by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.
She was found to be underweight, very malmourished and wounds to her body. The pup was transported back to the seal hospital for rehabilitation.
Update - 31st December 2016 : Goose is currently in the hospital´s isolation pen. The pup currently weighs 11kgs. Click here to see a larger version of this photo.

Update - 1st March 2017 : Goose is currently in the convalescent pool for her final stage of rehabilitation.

Update - 9th April 2017 : Goose is still in the convalescent pool and putting on lots of weight before being returned to the wild in the next month or so.
Her flipper tag number is 324 (white).
Update - 29th April 2017 : This photo of Goose with her seal friends in the rehab pool was taken by John, Paul, Ruth and Maddie Gore during their visit on 25th April 2017.

Update - 29th April 2017 : Goose along with Shark, Porcupine, Octopus, Pangolin and Bat were released back into the wild on 26th April 2017 at Gwithian beach.
