Eliza, a female grey seal pup, was rescued on 5th October 2020 from Booby´s Bay by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) marine mammal medics.
She was found separated from her mum at just one day old. The hope was that her mum would return but sadly her location made it almost impossible for her to be found.
She was brought to the Seal Sanctuary by BDMLR medics as this pup weighed just 13kgs and had a small ulcer in her left eye.

British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) Volunteer marine mammal medics will be sent out to monitor the pup for a period of time and as a very last resort, may rescue the pup depending on the circumstances.
