Elijah was rescued on 26th October 2017
Elijah, 1 week old male whitecoat seal pup, was rescued on 26th October 2017 from Widemouth Bay by members of British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

The pup was found with bite wounds. Weighed 12kgs.

Update - 30th October 2017 : Elijah is currently in the hospital´s isolation pen, but seem fairly bright and lively. The pup has been prescribed antibiotics and having his wounds cleaned twice daily. When space becomes available he will be moved through to the hospital where Elijah can learn to swim.
elijah Update - 1st January 2018 : Elijah is currently in the convalescent pool for his final stage of rehabilitation before he is released back into the wild soon.

Elijah´s flipper ID tag number is 322 (green).

Elijah Update - 27th March 2018 : Elijah is still in the rehabilitation pool.   Elijah weighed 31kgs on 20th March 2018.

Update - 29th March 2018 : Elijah along with Harmony, Carylon, Holywell, Kynance and Providence, were released back into the wild on 28th March 2018 at Dollar Cove.
