Dosa was rescued on 16th March 2021
Dosa, male grey seal pup, was rescued on 16th March 2021 from Sennen by marine mammal medics from the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR).

This seal was found with respiratory problems.

The pup was taken to one of the BDMLR´s holding facilities and stayed there until a pen became available on 23rd March 2021 at the Sanctuary´s seal hospital.
Dosa Update - 19th April 2021 : Dosa is now in the outside nursery pool 3 for his next stage of rehabilitation. Currently weighs 22.5kgs.

His flipper tag ID number is SL146 (green).
Update - 16th May 2021 : Dosa is doing really well and now is in the rehabilitation pool ready to be returned to the wild soon. He currently weighs 30kgs.

Seal Release - 26th May 2021 Update : 31st May 2021 - Dosa along with Yoghurt, Bratwurst, Croissant, Charsiu, Falafel and Jammie Dodgers have completed their rehabilitation and the time came for them to be released back into the wild from Dollar Cove on 26th May 2021.
