Dixie was rescued on 20th July 2016

Dixie, a female common seal pup, was rescued on 20th July 2016 from the RSPB Reserve at Titchwell Marsh.
Dixie is currently in the hospital´s pen number 5 and suffering from ulcerated eyes.

Update - 4th September 2016 : Dixie is currently in hospital pen number 1 and weighs 10.5kgs.

Update - 27th Novemmber 2016 : Dixie has sadly passed away; it is always very sad when one of the rescued pups dies but sometimes these little ones just don´t have enough anti-bodies and strength in them to pull through, despite the best efforts of all the staff at Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary.
