Cupid was rescued in January 2016

Cupid, a female grey seal pup, was rescued from Cley beach after Judy found her looking worse for wear on the beach. At 12kgs she is a quarter of the weight of she should be by now so the team have her on a high calorie diet to fatten her up.
The Animal Care Team suspect she has been separated from mum too soon and hasn´t learnt to find her own food.

Update - 31st January 2016 : She´s already put on a kilo since arrival and she´s learning to eat her fish whole.
Update - 27th February 2016 : Cupid has sadly passed away; it is always very sad when one of the rescued pups dies but sometimes these little ones just don´t have enough anti-bodies and strength in them to pull through, despite the best efforts of all the staff at Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary.
