Coraline is a female 4-5 weeks old grey seal pup was rescued from Mousehole beach on 17th December 2021 by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) marine mammal medics.
When Coraline was assessed and admitted to the BDMLR´s hospital, she was found to weigh 18kg and have multiple wounds including a nasty abrasion style wound across the side of her neck, possibly from a previous entanglement. She also has a respiratory infection and an ulcer on her left eye. She was very lethargic and had an extremely high temperature of over 39 degrees.
