Cherub, 2-3 weeks old male grey seal pup, was rescued on 4th October 2020 after Storm Alex from Mexico Towans in Hayle by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) marine mammal medics.
He was exhausted after the storm and had a high temperature and a respiratory infection. He was cared for by BDMLR whilst a space was made available for him at the Sanctuary´s hospital in Gweek.

British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) Volunteer marine mammal medics will be sent out to monitor the pup for a period of time and as a very last resort, may rescue the pup depending on the circumstances.
