Bruce was rescued on 12th June 2019
Bruce, male common seal pup, was rescued from Hunstanton beach on 12th June 2019 after being separated from his mum. He was found at 2-3 days old weighing 10kgs which is about average for a seal his age.

He is feisty little guy and is doing well. Bruce is being well cared for by the specialist animal care team who are also feeding him a special fish soup mixture every three hours to help keep him growing big and strong.

Bruce Update - 15th July 2019 : Since his arrival Bruce has put on 4kgs and has also progressed from the fish soup mixture to eating whole herring. He enjoys his long swims but isn´t too keen on water. He currently weighs 14.3kgs.

Update - 30th August 2019 : Bruce is currently in the weaning pool with Bruce and Sharika. He weighs 19kgs.

His flipper tag number is M001 (red).

Bruce Update - 18th September 2019 : Bruce is still in the hospital´s weaning pool with Beyonce and Gwen. He currently weighs 21kgs.
