Bertie is short-haired and light-coloured male Pygmy Goat with whites and browns in his coat. He loves a cuddle from the animal care team and will nudge their legs if he is not getting enough attention. Bertie joined the Sanctuary´s paddock family on the 11th of January 2017!
Interesting fact - Male pygmy goats usually produce a strong, musky odour to attract females (especially during breeding season), and their sweat gland is found on the crown of their head!
