Articulate was rescued on 20th December 2015
Articulate, approx. 6-8 weeks old female grey seal pup, was rescued on the 20th December 2015 from Little Fistral beach in Newquay by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

She was found with superficial wounds on her head, body and flippers. Weighed 17kgs. Articulate was treated with antibiotics.

Articulate Update - 1st January 2016 : Articulate was moved to the outside nursery pool on 29th December 2015 for her next stage of rehabilitation.

Her flipper tag number is 78 (blue).

Update - 25th February 2016 : Articulate is in the convalescent pool for her final stage of rehabilitation and learning how to compete for fish during feeding time with the resident adult seals and rescued seal pups.
Update - 3rd May 2016 : Articulate along with Labrinth, Solitaire, Hex, Cribbage and Guess Who? have completed their rehabilitation at the Seal Sanctuary and were released back into the wild on 27th April 2016 at Gwithian.
Update - 1st August 2016 : Articulate was seen at a local haul-out along the north coast of Cornwall on 12th July 2016 by members of the Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust who identifies and monitors local seals.
