Sometime on Monday morning (11th of June 2007) Boadicea, the Patagonian Sea Lion at the National Seal Sanctuary, gave birth to a female pup.

It is our sad news to report that the pup was still born but a post mortem will confirm the exact cause of death.

Boadicea is doing fine and is feeding well and the vet has been in to check Boadicea and prescribed a precautionary cause of antibiotics and extra iron tablets.
